Rima Akhvlediani MD. PhD.

• Graduated from Tbilisi State Medical Institute in 1980.
• 1985-1987 – Scientific Research Institute, Faculty of Rheumatology, Residency;
• In 1997, defended his PhD thesis on the topic of “Rheumatic Diseases in Georgian Adolescents”.

• 1980–1985 – worked at the First and Second Polyclinics of Tbilisi;
• Since 1987, has been working at the Republican Rheumatology Center of Georgia; Researcher at the Department of Prevention and Correction of Rheumatological Diseases of the Academician V. Tsitlanadze Georgian Scientific-Practical Institute;
• 1985 – 1987 – Institute of Scientific Research Therapy, Rheumatologist, Resident;
• Since 2020, Rheumatologist at the Jerarsi Clinic.

• Member of the Georgian Rheumatology Association.

• Participated in various local and international conferences and congresses.

Publications:

• She is the author of 10 scientific papers on the testing of folk remedies in rheumatological practice and rheumatic diseases in adolescents.
