• November 16, 2007 American Biographical Institute “Outstanding Woman of the 21st Century” honorary status for significant achievements: medical science; Atherosclerosis.

• One of the founders of Atherosclerosis Association of Georgia, League of Nutritionists, Cardiomyopathy, Internal Medicine, Gerontology, Hepatology and Gastroenterology societies.
• General Secretary and Vice-President of the Georgian Atherosclerosis Association, a member organization of the International Atherosclerosis Society.
• Vice-President of the Association of Internal Medicine of Georgia and the Society of Gerontologists.

• Participated in many international and local conferences.

• To date, 13 doctoral dissertations have been completed and defended under the guidance of Nona Kakauridze.
