• One of the founders of Atherosclerosis Association of Georgia, League of Nutritionists, Cardiomyopathy, Internal Medicine, Gerontology, Hepatology and Gastroenterology societies.
• General Secretary and Vice-President of the Georgian Atherosclerosis Association, a member organization of the International Atherosclerosis Society.
• Vice-President of the Association of Internal Medicine of Georgia and the Society of Gerontologists.
